Who are you, and why are you in my computer?
Calm down, I'll tell you.
I'm a director, deviser, writer, dramaturg and composer from Melbourne Australia – but I've lived in London for about 5 years.

I work across disciplines, fields and processes to bring a holistic approach to all facets of theatre-making. I specialise in directing and devising practice, using collaborative and inter-medial techniques to build performances that bring a diverse set of perspectives to bear on those thorny contemporary schisms. I'm drawn to irresolvable dilemmas, complex questions and frightening ideas.
My work is equal parts lyrical and comedic; philosophically complex and arrestingly visceral. It should feel like Simone Weil slapping you across the face with a copy of Gravity's Rainbow. I hope it does sometimes.

I'm also the co-founder and co-artistic director of the experimental theatre collective No Such Theatre.

Alongside my directing and ensemble devising, I also make my own music – sometimes for other media, sometimes for kicks – and you can explore this here also. I'm the current Resident Production Manager for CSSD's MA in Advanced Theatre Practice, and work freelance with high school students in theatre studies.

I hold a BA (Hons) in English and Theatre Studies from the University of Melbourne, and an MFA Advanced Theatre Practice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
