Feed

by James Christensen

Presented by Ringtail Theatre

Directed by Kassandra Tilley

Feed is a pitch-black comedy about two desperately unemployable flatmates in Melbourne's inner-north, who decide to make some fast cash selling fake news and right-wing political commentary online. As their scheme grows in scale, and the money continues to pour in, the two spiral into increasingly drug-addled reveries of paranoia and delusion, losing their grip on the truth and reality alike.

Wickedly bleak and scathing in its satire, Feed takes a swing at millennial ethics, neoliberal entrepreneurism and the price of truth in a 21st-century news cycle.

Feed was produced by Ringtail Theatre, and was performed at Northcote Town Hall in June 2018.
